Introduction
PWM
In

DC-DC CONVERTER

this scheme, the on-time Ton is varied

but chopping frequency f (or chopping
period T) is kept constant. Variation of
Ton means adjustment of pulse width,
as such this scheme is also called pulsewidth-modulation scheme.

Problem Identification
PWM dc-dc converters suffer from
1.High Switching power loss
2.stress loss.
3.Electromagnetic interference.

Proposed System

Proposed work

To study design of conventional boost

converter.
To design PWM boost converter with snubber
circuit.
To simulate proposed converter and discuss
the result.
Implementation of hardware and verify the
result

Features of Proposed Converter

All The semiconductor devices are both
turned on off under soft switching.
All The semiconductor devices are not
subjected to any additional voltage stress.
The converter can operate at
considerably high frequencies and acts as
normal PWM converter.
The proposed snubber cell can easily
applied to other basic PWM converter.
