The street at Gergely utca was full of smoke. Car alarms were ringing
and broken
glass were scattered. Zsolts
bar looked completely destroyed and a terriblethought struck John. He
shouted that his wife and daughter were in the bar andneeded to be
rescued. The people managed to cooperate and formed a team to
getrid of wood and stone. Soon, rescue fire, police and ambulance team
arrived andpersuaded him to leave. However, he insisted that his wife
and daughter needed
help. He was helped to the ambulance and had rest. He slept for a few
minutes andwoke up. The police told him that they did not get any news
yet. John has toanswer before being asked to go home and wait. John
realized that nobody cansurvive with the explosion. He regretted not
having a deep thought about what thereason of his doppelganger to
appear. He also regretted not telling Andrea abouthis dream and the
information he got from Mrs Fischer.

RESPONSIBILITY
The doppelganger has a serious responsibility . He is to warn
John of the impending danger that may befall his wife and
daughter . He does not want history to repeat itself . Thus , he
keeps on coming back each year until the day of the explosion .
At last he manages to save Andrea and Katis life . John too has
a strong sense of responsibility towards his family . He has
strong feeling that the doppelganger is trying to convey
a message to him involving Andrea and Kati . Thus, he feels that
it is his responsibility to find out more about Janos Szabo .Once
he knows that his family might be in danger , he rushes to Felka
Utca to rescue them.

harmed in the process as no one
knows what his double is after.
-Overcoming fear, he tries to meet
his doppelganger again because he
knows there must be a good reason
why his doppelganger appears
before him.
-His courage pays off when his
doppelganger saves Andrea and
Kati from the explosion.

We must be a responsible
person
-John and Andrea are responsible
parents.
-Kati's interest and safety come first.
-John's first thought in receiving the
note from Andrea is his wife and
child's safety.
-His sense of responsibility to protect
them makes him disregard his own
safety when he tries to enter the cellar
after the explosion.
