remember that Jesus, after dying on the cross, rose from the dead.
This miracle showed that life could win over death.

stationer added a greeting to a drawing of a rabbit. The
cards proved popular.

What about Easter in Spain?


In Spain there are processions (pasos) with
statues on floats carried by strong men for
over a week before Easter Day.
People become penitences and walk
through the streets in chains or barefoot.
People eat cakes called monas.
