What is bioluminescence?

Its an hability that let light production from the bodies of some
special vertebrates, invertebrates, fungi and microorganisms.

This is possible because of symbiotic organism who have special

parasites called Vibria.

Symbiosis is an interaction process between two different species

with the purpouse to make benefetis for the living of both
creatures, in this case that involves the light production for
survival and self-defense.

Firefly (Lamparydae)

Its a kind of winged beetle (coleptera order) who lives in

temperate or tropical wheater.

Their luminate organ is their tail side.

Their lights have the mission of reproduction.

Anglerfish

Its a predator fish who lives in the Deep sea, the abyssal zone.

They have a light lure that hangs of their head/body, they uses
that to fishing their preys and then eat them with the lot of
teeths that their have.

Bloodybelly comb jelly

A strange and special one kind of jelly, mainly unknowed,

ctenophore.

This Jelly produces sparkling lights of various colors, red, purple,

yellow and changing the opacity and shining of them.

Their bioluminescence have the function of hide them from the

predators.
