disappear; to fail; or to perish by untimely birth.
Methods of Abortion
Dilation and Curettage - commonly called "D and
C," is employed for early termination of pregnanc
y.
Suction and Curettage - other method used for earl
y termination of pregnancy, this method is differe
nt from the method used in D and C.
Hysterectomy - used in late pregnancy, a miniatur
e Caesarean operation.
Saline induction - other method used in late pregn
ancy, also called salt poisoning.
