History
Library came into existence in the year 1980
Initially functioned from Bio-science block and
moved to an independent building with 900 sq.mts
in 1983
Occupied 3500 sq. mts. in Ist phase of the planned
building of 9000 sq. meters in 1993.
Has seven sections: Browsing, Circulation,
Kannada, Periodicals, Reference, Stack and Text.
Collection increased from 40K to 180K documents
