Library visit to Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur

Visit Date- 23/01/2024

As a part of M.Ed Second year Semester 3rd, the given Library work
visit was organized at Library of Shri Shivaji Education society Amt’s
Science College, Congress Nagar, Nagpur on 23 rd January 2024 Being
students of educational research, we had collected all the information
regarding to Library books, library system, different types of books
present in library, e library system operation etc.

Library department of the college is in existence eversince the establishment

beginning of the college in the year 1960. Initially the library of college begun
functioning under the librarianship of Shri Motghare with 4300 books. The year to
year development of library was done by former librarians such as Dr. Hirwade
and Dr. Wadnerkar.
Now the college central library is well equipped and installed with network
resource center and INFLIBNET Result analysis. Most of the students of higher
education, M.Phil, Ph.D, etc are using the library effectively. Now the
departmental library is well established with all the Result analysis for students
and staff.
