colleges by line management and development of the Academic Support team.
Assume responsibility for day-to-day relationships and communications between the
library and the designated colleges.

Manage the relevant library budgets for the designated colleges to ensure they meet
requirements and provide value for money. Contribute to decision making for cross-
disciplinary material library budgets.
Ensure the creation, maintenance and analysis of appropriate management
information to ensure that evidence-based decisions can be made
Evaluate the quality and impact of the work of the team of librarians working with
the designated colleges to ensure the student experience is continuously improving.

St. Xavier’s Technical Institute is a reputed autonomous Polytechnic conducting Engineering
Diplomas, besides running Computer hardware and software courses.
FORMER ACHIEVEMENTS :
Have been at the helm of affairs both in the academic as well as the public library.
Formulated a number of policies and procedures through interaction with
management and faculty representatives.
Have been instrumental in planning, designing and setting up the Degree college
library according to governmental norms
Providing training and consultancy in library automation and the use of library
software to various institutes.
Experienced in communication with different governmental queries and preparing
various reports as required by the management from time to time.
Editor of the college magazine as well as Church bulletins.
