GENESIS 22:1-2

1 Some time later God tested

Abraham. He said to him,
Abraham! Here I am, he
replied
 GENESIS 22:1-2
2 Then God said, Take your son,
your only son, whom you love
Isaacand go to the region of
Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a
burnt offering on a mountain I will
show you.
 GENESIS 22:17-18
17 I will surely bless you and make
your descendants as numerous as
the stars in the sky and as the sand
on the seashore. Your descendants
will take possession of the cities of
their enemies,
 GENESIS 22:17-18
18 and through your offspring
all nations on earth will be
blessed, because you have
obeyed me.
ABRAHAM TESTED (GEN. 22)
 What are the greatest
experiences of Abraham
that caused God to
bless him?
 I. GOD CALLED
ABRAHAM TO OFFER
HIS BEST
V2 Then God said, Take your son,
your only son, whom you love

for the Best of our Labors
 II. ABRAHAM, WITHOUT
HESITATION, GAVE HIS

(despite

Abraham
got up and loaded his donkey. He
took with him two of his servants
and his son Isaac
 EVEN IF IT COST HIM TO
LOST HIS SON
He did not Hesitate.
He made No excuse.
He wake up early next
morning.
 III. WHATEVER IS
OFFERED
ON GODS ALTAR WILL
NEVER BE LOST
v9 When they reached the
place God had told him about,
Abraham built an altar
Now I know that you fear
God, because you have
not withheld from me
your son, your only son.

GODS ALTAR, ABRAHAM
BEGAN TO RECEIVED
GODS BEST
 Abraham experienced the
Name of God Jehovah
Jireh (on the name of the
Lord it will be provided) v14
CONCLUSION:

God is looking for our

best gift to Him.
