Chester Cheetah

learns to use his


walking feet

A scripted story to assist with teaching


children to walk when appropriate.

Chester is an amazing cheetah. He loves
to run and play with his friends.
But sometimes when it is time to
walk quietly Chester gets excited.
When Chester gets excited he used to run, skip, and talk
out loud. Chester disrupts all of his friends when he runs,
skips, and talks out loud when it is time to walk quietly.
Chester now knows how to use his
walking feet when he gets excited.
He can stop running, skipping, and
yelling.

He can think about what is expected
of him.

Step
2
He can put his hands at his side and walk
quietly.

Step 3
Now Chester can use his walking feet and walk
quietly in line without disrupting his friends!
Now when Chester gets excited he
knows that he should
