ANNOUNCED THROUGH HIS WORKS Muth
MIRACLES
-Jesus' miraculous acts are sometimes referred to as"signs,"
because they stand as proofof hisdivinity, physical manifestations
of the presence of God among his people.
-As evidence of who he was, Christ pointed to his own works.
- "The works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness to
me" (Jn 10:25)
-When Jesus told his disciples to preach and heal the sick in his
name, he told them to announce that it was a sign that the
Kingdom of God was near.
JESUS' MISSION
-Christshowed thatGod reigns over all, and thathe himself is the
Son of God, sent by theFatherto establisha new order onEarth, by
performing miracles
-His miracles aid people to believe in him, to believe what he
preaches about, and to allow his faith to be strengthened
-Jesus' mission was mainly not about eliminating physical evils. His
redemptive mission was focused on liberating humanity from its
enslavement to the power of sin, which leads only to death
-The greatest evil is manifested in the bondage of sin that prevents
human freedom and draws us toward destruction
CHRIST'S WORKS AND MISSIONS
-We learn from the healing of the paralytic story that Christ has the
power of God.

-The presence of God was with the people and at any point he
could over throw the Devil.

-Christ's Passion, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension show God's

ultimate divinity and prove God has a kingdom and he's waiting for
us to join him in eternal life.
