Joan Mir i Ferr was born in
Barcelona (1893) and died in Palma de
Mallorca (1983).

He was a Spanish Catalan painter,

sculptor, and ceramist.

His work is reflected in the

subconscious, the "childish" and his
country.
 Surrealism: is a cultural movement that
began in the early 1920s, and is best known
for the visual artworks and writings of the
group members.
