    Examples:
    Increase
    the preassure for instrument air
    systems (to get control valves to oprate),
    Transport gases such as hydrogen, nitrogen,
    fuel gas in a chemical plant
    Centrifugal Compressor
    Operate by accelerating the gas an coverting the energy to pressure.
    Two types of centrifugal compressor:
    Single stage
    Multi stage
    Take the discharge of one stage,
    And pass it to the suction of an other
    Stage. (used for high gas flow rate,
    High discharge pressure)
