Conduct a general meeting with the existing market team in the
northern, Eastern n western region one by one and get their
inputs
Show them the statistics of the success of the southern region
teams of the company due to the presence of dedicated
marketing and extension teams over there
Invite the heads of marketing and extension teams in the
southern region to provide knowledge sharing to the teams in
northern, Eastern and western regions
Divide the team in the northern, Eastern and western regions to
conduct market survey and field survey simultaneously, and help
them to understand how improving the relations with farmers
and working on concept selling would effectively increase sales
Develop strategies based on field survey to understand our
product reach,the performance of competitor product and
expectations of farmers
Provide a adhoc plan assigning the team members a set of
activities to do in order to improve relations with farmers and
gain their perspective By doing all these, the employees will
attain self realization of the importance of extension activities to
increase sales, thus increasing the market share. It will also help
the team achieve their sales target and outperform by focusing
on extension activities
Make dedicated marketing and extension teams so that both teams
are focussed on their goals from the existing teams by bifurcating
them equally
By telling the team why the restructuring is done so that a proper
sense of purpose is felt by the team members for working.
Since Maharashtra is has the highest revenue as per the data given
ie 25.66 Cr (16.24% of Market share) proper focus to be given by
restructuring the teams both in marketing and extension teams.
Since 1200 employees are employed year long they also should be
restructured in different functions to have a structured
organization.
Conclusion
By doing all these, the employees will attain self realization
of the importance of extension activities to increase sales,
thus increasing the market share. It will also help the team
achieve their sales target and outperform by focusing on
extension activities
