Oracle Training Materials Usage Agreement

the information, documents, and the online training courses (collectively, Materials") found on this Site. The
use of the Materials is restricted to the non-commercial, internal training of the Partners employees only.
The Materials may not be used for training, promotion, or sales to customers or other partners or third
parties.

2. All the Materials are trademarks of Oracle and are proprietary information of Oracle. Partner or other
third party at no time has any right to resell, redistribute or create derivative works from the Materials.

3. Oracle disclaims any warranties or representations as to the accuracy or completeness of any


Materials. Materials are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including
without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Overview of Checklists

Checklist is same as a task list. It contains all to-do


tasks. The checklist is just for reference only and
does not perform any action.

Typically action like new hire would imply completion


of various other tasks such as generation of ID Card,
allocation of desk, background check, etc. That can
not be performed in Oracle HRMS.

Oracle HRMS allows users to keep track of such


tasks using the checklist functionality.

Against each check item, users can record a status,


date due, date achieved and any notes.

Checklist are required to be associated with a life


event to auto generate checklist.

In Oracle HRMS Life event reasons to identify any


change to a persons record. The system creates life
event when it detect a change in a Persons HR
record for which life event reason is defined.

For example, you can define changes to persons


type to generate life event for Hire, Deployment and
Termination process.

System can be instructed to perform tasks on

Triggering the Life Event

Hire a new employee to trigger new hire event.

Once employee is hired, checklist will be associated


with the newly hired person. Each task would be
updated with the end date based on the setup
information.
