Microorganisms are minute organisms that
cannot be seen with the naked eye.
It can only been seen through the light
microscope or electron microscope.
It that can be classified into five main group are
bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa and algae
based on their structures and features.

2 Saprophytic b acteria o b tain food from d ead
organism s such as an im al carcasses and
ro tting w ood. The d ecom posing b acteria is
an exam ple o f saprophytic b acteria.
3 Auto trophic b acteria can m ake its ow n food
th rough photosynthesis.
