Housing inspection system

Introduction
This a computerized online task management
system.
It enables the calculation of total amount to be
paid until completion of a building.
It enable users to upload all the information of
clients that are captured in files into the system.
The system is aimed at substituting paper card
system which is currently used by housing
inspectors at M.O.C.
Motivation
Manual searching done to obtain
development information of houses.
People where building unapproved structures
and claim to have been approved.
Problems on keeping and updating stage
forms.
Auditing have been a challenge as cards were
used
Problems of the current system
Engineering department and housing
department are currently facing more
problems on keeping and updating stage
forms.
Keeping the file records becomes a mess as a
lot of files are in sorry state as some of them
are tattered and information is being lost.
Report generation becomes a problem as
there is need of tracing each and every file.
Objectives
To enable the inspector to create client account and approve edit.
It enables the calculation of total amount to be paid until
completion of a building.
To allows searching using queries.
Electronic database for all tasks record keeping and easy retrieval of
reports for editing and very easy to manage as you can just click
into system.
To reduce time wasting as for example, time spends searching files
in offices and to rearrange them.
Safe keeping of records files are vulnerable to fraudsters and can be
altered easily or stolen.
To enable inspectors to capture scanned documents containing
clients information.
