Starbucks was founded in 1971 in Seattle and Starbucks has about


182,000 employees across 19767 company operated and licensed
stores in 62 countries.
Information About Your Target Market

Starbuck is targeting men and women ages 25 to 40. They account


for almost half of 47% of its business. Starbucks appeal to this
costumer age group through hip, contemporary design that is
consistent in its advertising and decoration, and they will keep
working until its products accurate as their current as status
symbols.
Distinguishing characteristics

They make different types of coffee and they all have their own
unique smells and flavors of the types of beans were used and how
the beans were harvested. They also dont ever want them to all
taste or smell the same then that would not be any interesting
then when you would order a flavored coffee it would either taste
bitter or there would be no taste to them at all.
Size of the primary target market

Its big but then again they want to get between a certain age
group to buy coffee and give them feed back to see what they
need to improve and what they can keep the same.
How much market share can you gain?

Since the 2000s the coffee wave makers have targeted quality-
minded coffee drinkers with hand made coffee based on the
lighter roasts. While Starbucks nowadays uses automated
espresso machines for efficiency and also for safety reasons.
