Expectations and Rules

Students are expected to make positive contributions to our learning environment by always:
1. Being safe and considerate
2. Cooperating with everyone
3. Expressing yourself in a positive way
4. Being responsible for self

Weekly and Daily Goals
Students are given Weekly and Daily goals that they are responsible for. This includes behavior, assignments,
materials (pencils, notebooks, erasers, etc.), and independent goals for students.

Students and parents can refer to students Take Home Daily Agenda for communications with teacher.
Classroom tickets are tracked for parent and staff conferences. Students who Go Beyond are rewarded with
Preferred Activity Time
Traffic ticket system
Classroom Ticket system:
Minor infractions are handled with nonverbal communication such as eye contact,
facial expressions, and proximity control.
Frequent minor infractions result will result in a warning, followed by a classroom
ticket. Students pay the ticket fine by completing the prompt In the future to not

Preferred Activity Time
Preferred Activity Time is rewarded to students who:
consistently make a positive impact on our learning community
and
take responsibility of their learning by staying on task and managing their goals.
Students are allowed to choose from the Preferred Activities during classroom free time.
These activities develop necessary skills students need in interesting and fun ways.
Preferred Activities include: Classroom Weebly Communications, Collaborative Activities,
Technology and Robotics, Trivia, Puzzles, and much more!
