MAGNETIC RESONANCE COUPLING
SYSTEM
Pair of coupled coils with additional
capacitances.
Principle :-Electromagnetic Induction with
Resonance
Basic idea: Strong Magnetic Coupling of two
resonators tuned at the same resonant
frequency.
5
GENERAL PRINCIPLE: IN DETAIL

Primary is coupled with Capacitor.

Energy oscillates in magnetic field.

Secondary coil is tuned at same frequency as that of

oscillation.

Secondary coil cut the magnetic field and absorb energy.

ENHANCEMENT
A) ADAPTIVE MATCHING USING MULTI LOOP

B) OPTIMUM FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENT

C) COUPLING MANIPULATION

15
A) ADAPTIVE MATCHING WITH
MULTI LOOP COIL
Maximum efficiency attained by reducing distance.

Various coils are added in between to reduce

distance

Average Efficiency reduces by 5%

16
B) OPTIMUM FREQUENCY
ADJUSTMENT
Automatic Frequency Tuner

Optimum load at target distance

Changing Dimension and position

17
C) COUPLING MANIPULATION

Adjusting Distance Between Rx and Tx coil

Efficiency of 92.5% at a distance of 15cm

18
WINDING RESISTANCE REDUCTION

Major loss occur due to AC winding Resistance

Skin and proximity effect lead to rise in AC resistance

Surface spiral layout reduces resistance

Thickness is made equal to skin depth

Use Litz wire

19
BENEFIT & COMMERCIALISATION

Transmission efficiency is about 30% for Wired Transmission

from Power station

Excessive Wiring is avoided

Recharging without cords
