- Magnetic Disk
- Easier to Program
- Used High Level Language like COBOL and FORTRAN
Third Generation

Periode : 1963 to 1975


Size : Small as compared to 2nd Generation
computers
Technology : ICS (Integrated Circuit)
Incorporated many transistors & electronic
circuits on a single chip
Processing : Faster Than 2nd Generation computers

- Minicomputers accessible by multiple users from remote
terminals.
- Used Operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac OS, DOS)
