Diagnosis Tetanus

1.Clinical symptoms
- Tetanic seizures, trismus, dysphagia, risus
sardonicus (sardonic smile).
2. The wound that preceded it. The wound is
sometimes forgotten.
3. Culture: C. tetani (+).
4. Lab: SGOT, CPK increased as well as
myoglobinuria found
5. History of wounds corresponding to the
incubation period
6. Patients usually have not received
immunization.
