music, and the lives of artists)
What is their target audience?

The diverse target audience is thanks to the large variety of presenters that the radio station has. They
span from old to young and each one features different genres of family friendly music. They don't have
any bad language appealing to a larger variety of age ranges. They have multiple segments dedicated
to retro music pushing the target age into 35+.
What type of music do they play?
Adult oriented pop music (classics and currents) such as:

The radio station commonly feature mostly music. Conventionally, they feature a
segment dedicated to only music followed by around 10 minutes of speech. Other
segments such as the news are included making the speech to music ratio be around
60:40. Some presenters have longer radio segments that therefore include more
speech. For example, Chris Evans has a considerably longer time slot compared to
Ken Bruce. Kens segment consists of mostly music whereas Chris has much more
dialogue as he tends to feature more interview segments.

How does the radio station interpolate the audience
It plays pop classics to connect with the older primary audience and covers a
broad array of genres one after another. It can go from Funk to Orchestral to Rock
and back to some smooth singer/songwriter on piano. They also talk about and
traffic situations in breaks which more widely appeals to their primary audience
with them being more likely to drive.
