INTRODUCTION

Electricity generation is the process of

generating electric power from sources of primary
energy. For electric utilities in the electric power
industry, it is the first stage in the delivery of electricity
to end users, the other stages being transmission,
distribution, energy storage and recovery, using
pumped-storage methods.
1. The spherical
sun power
generator
A German Architect Andre Broessel designed this
spherical sun power generator generally called
beta.ray
His technology will combine spherical geometry
principles with a dual axis tracking system, allowing
twice the yield of a conventional solar panel in a
much smaller surface area
The futuristic design is fully rotational and is suitable
for inclined surfaces, walls of building, and
anywhere with access to the sky

2. OTEC
OTEC means Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion
There is temperature difference in ocean which make thermal
energy and it is converted to electrical energy
The conversion cycle contain an evaporator, condenser,
steam turbine and a generator
There are 3 type of cycle in OTEC open cycle, closed cycle
and hybrid cycle.
Plant produce double the energy when fresh water sources
and the nutrient rich seawater is drawn from ocean depth
The major drawback of OTEC is that since they operate on
such small temperature differences, generally about 36
degrees Fahrenheit(20celsius),they are only 1 to 3 percent
efficient
3. Fuel Cells
It is device which convert chemical
energy to electrical energy
It has two electrode one positive
and one negative and a electrode
which carries electrically charged
particles from one electrode to other
Electrode is made up of porous
graphite and Hydrogen and Oxygen
are bubbled to it
 4.Geothermal
Energy
Geothermal energy is the heat energy generated
and stored in earth
There is lots of heat energy in our earth crust by
using this energy we can produce electrical enrgy
In ancient time onwards geothermal energy is used
for bathing room heating
through hot springs
Main disadvantage is only
some places can be use
for geothermal plant
