There are two types of cultural heritage according to UNESCO - tangible heritage including historical buildings and sites that can be visited, and intangible heritage including cultural practices and expressions that evolve over time. Spain has numerous examples of both types of cultural heritage, with 46 tangible sites recognized including the Alhambra in Granada and works by Antoni Gaudí, as well as intangible heritage such as flamenco, Mediterranean diet, and festivals in Valencia and Córdoba.

Landscape Planning Fall Semester 2017 Isabel Abellan Types of Cultural Heritage
According to UNESCO there are two types of heritage:
TANGIBLE (PROPERTIES), which is the heritage that we can actually visit no matter the time that passes, it will remain the same if we have the right measures. For example, historical buildings. INTANGIBLE, which concerns all the cultural practices and expressions of a country. That makes the heritage variable over time, evolving and enriching itself, identifying with the current situation of the country where they are developed.
