• Before cloud computing. • Present cloud services. • Advantages and drawbacks. • Major companies offering cloud service. • Conclusion. WHAT IS CLOUD COMPUTING ?
• Cloud computing is an internet based that provides shared computer
processing resources and data to computer and other devices on demand. • It is a model for appearing, on demand access to a shared pool of comnfigurable computing resources. eg: computer networks , servers, storage, applications and services. • In 1960 this concept has been raised. • In 2006,amazon started using this concept, from here it was popularaized. BEFORE CLOUD COMPUTING(ON- PREMISE) • Company need to maintain large number of servers for their Software services. • Separate resources are required to Maintain servers. • Limited Storage. • Servers costs more. • hardware Moving forward needs to upgrade. PRESENT CLOUD SERVICES:
• No need to maintain in house servers, as they are maintained
by cloud services companies. • Anyone can access from anywhere. • No resources required to maintain servers, cloud companies will manage. • Hardware upgradation will be manage by cloud companies. ADVANTAGES:
• Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economy
of scale, similar to a utility (like the electricity grid) over an electricity network. • It claims that cloud computing allows companies to avoid up-front infrastructure costs (e.g., purchasing servers). • It enables organizations to focus on their core businesses instead of spending time and money on computer infrastructure. • It was reported that cloud computing had become a highly demanded service or utility due to the advantages of high computing power, cheap cost of services, high performance, scalability, accessibility as well as availability. MAJOR COMPANIES OFFERING CLOUD SERVICES:
• AWS Cloud (Amazon)
• Microsoft Azure • Oracle Cloud • Sales Force… CONCLUSION
• This would be the highly demanded service in future as well
as present. • In future most of the companies depend on cloud services. THANKING YOU, YOURS, AKSHAY KUMAR. G, 16HM1A0510, AITS,KADAPA.
