MODAL AUXILIARY
Modal auxiliary are helping verb that usually comes before a main verb and it
indicates ability to do something
EXAMPLES

 I can speak Spanish and German


 I can write stories
 He can cook quite well
 Mary can sing English song
We use modal auxiliaries to express certainty, probability or possibility.
Examples:
 I may come tomorrow
 It might rain today
Modals are also used for asking permission, making request and offers, giving advice
and so on.
Examples:
 We mustn’t disturb john
 May I help you
 I will do that.
 May ask John
