System Requirements

System requirements* for Tutor are the same as those


of the Microsoft Office version on the local PC.
• Recommended installation sequence
– Microsoft Office* (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IE5)
– Adobe Acrobat* (full version with Distiller)
ONLY required on systems that will be
used for building Student and Instructor

– Author
– Publisher
– Model Documents

Tutor software is available for purchase from:

Once purchased, Tutor updates are available from:

File Naming Conventions

• All model Tutor documents are identified by an


alphanumeric filename composed of a two alpha-
character mnemonic (indicating document type)
and a non significant six character identifier.
• The maximum number of characters for a filename
is eight
