Add Or Delete Content From Chapters

• If you need to make corrections or permanent


content changes to any of the content, make the
changes to the source document and rebuild the
student guide.
• One-time or temporary changes can be made to
individual chapters. If it is a one-time change and
affects the pagination, you can update the Table of
Contents to reflect the temporary change.

Update Table Of Contents In A Guide

• Open the file containing the Table of Contents.


– You need to be in the table of contents document in
order to run the update utility.
• Run the utility to update the table of contents.
N > Tutor Author > Author > Update
Table of Contents
– Author automatically updates the table of contents
to reflect the revised student guide.
• Save the table of contents file.
• Do not change the filename.
