Project Grade Expectations

For an “A” the project achieves all of the above and final product
exceeds expectations
For a “B” the project achieves all of the above criteria and final
product is above average
For a “C” the project achieves all of the above criteria and final
product is average
For a “D” or “F” the project does not meet all of the above criteria
Commercial (3 student max per group)
___ Script includes rationale paragraph that shows the connection to a theme

___ Script includes text evidence. You must have at least ONE QUOTE per commercial.

___ 3 commercials with 3 different products/services

___ Products/services relate to a theme

___ Utilizes props and costumes

___ Commercial is filmed and ready to share with class

Movie Trailer (4 students max per group)
___ Create a script for your movie trailer that includes a rational paragraph at the
end that shows the connection to theme (You must turn this in)

___ Film your video (If you use music in your trailer, list artist and title and why
you chose it.)

___ Include props and costumes in your video

___ Present your video to the class


Soundtrack or Playlist (Individual assignment)
____Original cover art must be creative, thoughtful, attractive, and clearly
connected to the chosen theme

____ 5 songs minimum; must be clean of profanity, drugs, and alcohol and must
be school appropriate

____ Song listing must include full name of song and artist’s name

____Each song must have a well written analytical paragraph that explains the
lyrics’ connection with the chosen theme and contains correctly cited strong
textual evidence that ties the song to the play

MUST HAVES:

presented in the play.
