DESCRIPTION
Modern Flute / Recorder is one type of wind instrument in the
world, is a musical instrument from a family of woodwind
instruments.The sound of the flute is soft and can be combined
with other instruments well.
Modern flute for experts is generally made of silver, gold or a
mixture of both. While the flute for students is generally made of
nickel-silver, or silver-coated metal.
HISTORY
Recorder was at least noted in documents that existed in the
14th century, since Grove’s Dictionary uses the word ‘recorder’
on the report that there was someone from the EARL of Derby
family who wore or practiced a musical instrument called Fistula
Nomine Recorder. The event was recorder in 1388, and the man
from the EARL of Derby was later known as King Henry IV.

There are several things that must be
considered in playing Recorder, namely:
The left hand holds the top flute with the finger position:
• Tumb closes the Octave hole (bottom)
• Index finger closes the hole 1
• Middle finger closes the 2nd hole
• Ring finger closes the 3 hole
The right hand holds the bottom recorder, with the finger position:
• Finger finger closes aperture 4
• Middle finger closes aperture 5
• Ring Finger closes the hole 6
• The little finger closes the 7th hole
