were still cruising along the
highway.
Judy , our driver was beginning
to feel sleepy. I offered to take
over but she declined. I tried to
start a conversation to keep her
awake but she kept giving me
the monosyllabic answers.
It was a hot afternoon,
Susila could feel the sweat
trickling down her back
She had just finished Mrs.
Wong’s extra class……..
Peter woke up early that
morning. He inhaled the
frigid morning air.
It was quite cold. He had
been waiting for the
students since dawn. What
was taking them so long ?
One day , in January, my
mother asked me to
accompany her to the
market. After an hour,
I was sweating profusely. She
finally got what she wanted.
As we were walking to our
car, a motorcycle swept past
us.
It was raining heavily that
night.
I was hurrying home from
Mathematics tuition. As I
arrived home, I noticed a
shadowy figure behind the
mango tree.
