-Macro photography
-Panoramic photography
RULES OF THIRDS
the rules of thirds is where you take a photo
and the main object is on a intersection of a
3x3 grid surrounded by more scenery, like in
the photo the bike rider is on the top right
intersection of the grid while there is scenery
around him filling the background.
NEGATIVE SPACE
Negative space is there area around or between
objects. Most photographers use this to make the
main idea of their photo to stand out. Like in the
photo the area around the light house is gloomy
which makes the light house stand out.
SYMMETRY IN PHOTOGRAPHY
symmetry is where the photo is most likely symmetrical on
both sides so its like a mirror. If you can paint half of it on
one side of paper and folder and it’s the exact same on
the other side that’s symmetry.
LIGHTING TECHNIQUES
Lighting techniques are used by a lot of famous
photographers, it is where you use the lighting in
the photo like in split lighting you have one side of
a face lit up in the light and the other in the dark.

Split Lighting.

Loop Lighting.

Rembrandt Lighting.

Butterfly Lighting.

Broad Lighting.

Short Lighting.
SHADOWS AND SILHOUETTES
Silhouettes are basically the same as shadows except it is you as
dark figure that will mirror you move for move.

Shadows are a mirror of you but without colour it’s a shape of

you which is made by a light hitting you from one side making a
shadow on the other side of you a shadow will do whatever you
do.
LEADING LINES
Leading lines are one of the most
under-utilised compositional tools
available to photographers. You
can use them to draw a viewers
attention to a specific part of the
frame, whether it’s a person, or a
vanishing point in the background
of the frame
MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY
Macro photography is extreme close-up
photography, usually of very small subjects or
living creatures like insects, in which the size of
the subject in the photograph is greater than
life size.
PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPHY
Panoramic photography is a technique of
photography, using specialized equipment or software,
that captures images with horizontally elongated fields
of view It is sometimes know as wide format
photography. The term has also been applied to a
photograph that is cropped to a relatively wide aspect
ratio.
