3G South :: Weak Cover HSPA Serving Cell Change THD ::3AR21
 Description:
Weak coverage threshold for serving cell change triggered by event 1D. Upon receiving
event 1D, the RNC determines whether the Ec/N0 value of the target cell is lower than
the threshold. If yes, the RNC considers that the UE resides in a weak-coverage area and
instructs the UE not to change its serving cell.
Since the InterFreqHThd2FEcN0 in 3AR21 is set at -12 so we proposed to set the
WeakCovHSPAQualThds value from -24 to -16.

 Action Taken:
Setting the WeakCovHSPAQualThds value from -24 to -16.

 Results:
The HSDPA Cell Change Rate is improved from 99;6% to 99.63%
The PS and PS+ CS Multi-Rab drops are decreased
