It’s our company’s main object that our client should get WHAT they are paying for. Our stone slabs and stone tiles
and other stone products are always being packed in fumigate wood crates or pallets as required by international
norms ISPM-15 standards.
We have appointed a reputed Fumigation Agency which is recognized by the Directorate of Plant Protection
Quarantine and Storage - Government of India (Ministry of Agriculture) who works as per the latest National and
International standards (ISPM 15 & NSPM 11&12,) and who is authorized to carry out fumigation of wooden packing
material and affix the ISPM 15 stamping on the wooden crates. Our service provider is authorized to carry out
fumigation as per the latest AFAS-AQIS Methyl Bromide standard. So, our clients especially from USA should be
relaxed while dealing with us….
Stone packaging is utmost important issue….we consider it as important as stone processing…..it is just like a part of
stone processing….our professionally trained container packing supervisor and other team members ensure that the

We usually adopt the following safest ways of packing of your Stones:
Big Slabs Packing in the container - The Gang saw size Granite / Marble / Quartzite Slabs & Granite slabs are firstly
packed in fumigated wooden bundles / crates with the help of C-clamp. We always put a thin plastic sheet between the
polished faces of slabs to avoid friction during the transit. We usually put 7 slabs in case 30 mm thick slabs and 10
slabs in case of 20 mm thick slabs. After fixing the slabs in the bundle we tightly compressed each bundle. We always
put 07 bundles only in the container whether 30 mm thick slabs order or 20 mm thick slabs order. At last all bundles
are choked with each other with lots of wooden planks...all wooden bundles nailed down to the floor of the container
also so that the bundles cannot shift during transit. It’s important to note that our company always takes HD images
during the container stuffing and after stuffing all 07 bundles for our client's satisfaction. The crux of the matter is "we
take all possible steps" to ensure 100% that your marble slabs / granite slabs / stone slabs reach safely to your
destinations.
Small Slabs / Half Slabs Packing in the container - The small size Granite / Marble / Quartzite Slabs are firstly packed
in fumigated wooden bundles / crates with the help of C-clamp. We always put a thin plastic sheet between the
polished faces of slabs to avoid friction during the transit. In case of small slabs, we usually make double decker
wooden pallets or some time we pack the slabs in the wooden pallets with one layered on container floor only…all we 35
do as per the buyer’s instructions only.

At last all pallets are choked with each other with lots of wooden planks...all wooden pallets nailed down to the floor of
the container also so that the bundles cannot shift during transit. It’s important to note that our company always takes
HD images during the container stuffing and after stuffing all bundles / crates for our client's satisfaction. The crux of
the matter is "we take all possible steps" to ensure 100% that your marble slabs / granite slabs / stone slabs reach
safely to your destinations.
Granite / Marble / Quartzite Blocks Packing in the container - Blocks are loaded into container with the help of fork lift
and we always put blocks in the container on fumigated wooden rails to avoid movement of blocks inside container.
After putting the blocks as per the permissible weight limit (27 or 24 or 21 or 20 or 17 tons whatsoever instructed by
client)…we ensure that blocks must be duly secured around by timber at the bottom to secure the basis avoiding
possible shifting when the ship meets adverse weather en-route. Each block must be additional lashed with min. 2
lashings of wires or lashing belts. When wires are being used for lashing so called "edge protectors" to be used
avoiding that they are "eating" into the relative soft stones. The crux of the matter is "we take all possible steps" to
ensure 100% that your marble blocks / granite blocks reach safely to your destinations.

Loose Slabs Packaging – This method of loose packing is generally being accepted by the stone buyers in Egypt,
Lebanon, Pakistan, Algeria (mainly from middle east) countries…for packaging of medium & small cutter slabs. Under
this way…the slabs are being loaded loosely one over another vertically with support from container's body. This is the
cheapest way container packing & loading and generates minimum wastage of precious wood which is good for our
environment also. The crux of the matter is "we take all possible steps" to ensure 100% that your marble / granite
slabs which are directly loaded into the container reach safely to your destinations.
10 / 12 mm Granite Marble Tiles Packaging - 10 mm tiles are firstly packed in styrofoam / thermocol boxes or in paper
corrugated boxes as per client’s instructions and further they are packed into fumigated wooden pallets / crates. After
putting all the styrofoam / paper corrugated boxes in the wooden crates, they are finally being tightened by iron / plastic
strips. We also do the plastic sheet wrapping / shrinking the crates / pallets especially for calibrated tiles. The crux of
the matter is "we take all possible steps" to ensure 100% that your calibrated marble / granite / slate / sandstone tiles
reach safely to your destinations.
Kitchen Countertop Packaging – Countertop packaging also has a very strict set of rules at our Stone Factory…first we
always send the digital inspection photos (through email) before your countertops are packed in the crates, by this way
our valuable customer knows about the actual countertops which is coming to him / her. 39
PACKING :
First of all, each piece of countertops is individually wrapped in bubble sheet or foam sheet of at least 8 mm. Then one
by one we put the countertops into the respective wooden crate. The inside of the wooden crate is padded with foam
sheet (at least of 8 mm for best security). In the end…we tightly pack the wooden crate and the iron stripped each
crate. The crux of the matter is "we take all possible steps" to ensure 100% that your countertops reach safely to your
destinations.
We always use those wooden crates which are easily accessible by fork-lift for smooth shipping and besides it should
be easy to unpack upon arrival at the customer’s side. No other Stone Company in India does what we do to ensure
that your countertops will arrive safely.
Stone Pavers Packaging - In case of outdoor stones like flagstones, landscaping stones, circles, etc which are
basically rough stones, they are directly stacked in the wooden crates. Any loose gaps are tightened with filling
material like wood, hardboard, foam sheet etc. to protect stone slabs/tiles from colliding with each other. The crux of
the matter is "we take all possible steps" to ensure 100% that your Stone Pavers reach safely to your destinations.
Marking on the crates / bundles – We always ask from the buyer that what sort of Marking you need on the wooden

To summaries the stone packaging matter....we once again would like to say that our Stone Factory uses the highest
international standards for stone packaging and shipping so as to provide Excellency in transporting the stone products
and to ensure that our products reach our clients in the best possible condition.
We use - fine quality of wood for making wooden crates and our wooden crates are being fumigated as per
international fumigation norm ISPM-15.
We use - different impact resistant materials to protect the stone materials such as thermocol, foam and bubble
sheets.
We use - Iron / Plastic Strips to increase the strength of each wooden crate.
Digital Images - During the container loading and after loading the full container, we take digital images, after fastened
/ locking the wooden crates inside the container we send the photos to our client for their complete satisfaction and
100% transparency of the workings.

instruct us for any specialized way or customized packing requirements which will be duly fulfilled to our best capacity.
