Problem Statement

o Create an educational technology platform that provides institutions with

a space to
• share documents and multimedia and
• host functions (including, but not limited to, mailing and test-taking) with scholars in
an isolated clique.
o The platform is capable of report generation over the institution specific
data placed on the server (EDM)
o The platform is secure and prevent data leaks between cliques of users.
Primary Objectives

• Design and implement an upload portal for institutions and a mobile app-
website combo for scholars
• Upload portal is the data-entry-point at the institution-side.
• Mobile app (and the homologous website) allows data consumption and
serves as the interface for aforementioned functions at the scholar-side.

The platform utilises three key technologies; serverless architecture, educational data
mining and API gateways
Secondary Objectives

• Attempt commercialisation of the finished product.

• Test and improve the design under real-life loads.
Primary Outcomes

• An industry standard education technology platform that addresses

various needs of real institutions.
• Deeper understanding of the incorporated technologies.
