 How to assess the living conditions in your municipality in relation to the other
municipalities in the City of Skopje?
 Around 37% answered that condition are same and around 33% that they are better
 What do you consider to be the worst quality between air, water or soil in the
municipality of Centar?
 85% of the residents said that air pollution has worst quality. And also almost 90% said
that air has risk and high level of pollution.
 why is the air quality bad in Centar. According to you, what are the main reasons for
the air pollution in the municipality of Centar?
 100% said that this is as result of construction expansion and reduction of green
spaces, 33%, big number of old vehicles and 33% Failure to comply with environmental
legislation.
 Which of the problems do you consider to be a priority for your municipality?
 94% said that priority is to increasing green areas, 50% using renewable energy, 33%
better communal services, noise reduction and improving the conditions for the
movement of people with disabilities.
 Next questions are related to perception for, Green Centar`` programmed.
 What you receive from you is from the Green Center program? 47%asnwered that with
this aesthetics of the space got improved and same percent said that with renewal of
the small parks they’ve got places for socializing.100% said that this has positive
impacts in the neighborhoods.
 Benefits from this are the area with greenery has a positive impact on the inhabitants
77%; the space for children's playgrounds is increased 61%,
 What do you think the municipality should undertake for raising the quality of life in
the municipality of Centar from an environmental aspect? Increasing green spaces 83,
3%, Finding alternatives and closing the main roads44, 4%, increasing pedestrian
zones 44, 4 %.
 Next set of questions are about socio-cultural aspect of regeneration
 What should the municipality do to improve the social and cultural life of the Center?
 To create more space cultural events that would be free to use by artists 61%, Programs for
active involvement of citizens (festivals, projections, sports events) 50%, urban equipment
and more citizen engagement activities 50%.
 What do you think will improve the lives of the inhabitants of Centar if these activities are
undertaken?
 Will encourage cultural development among the young population66%, It will encourage
greater interest among citizens for inclusion in activities of public interest50%.

 According to you, what impact there is on the city and municipality center Skopje 2014
project?
 Negative opinion is very high with 83%, without opinion 11% and 5% has positive opinion
about it.
 Evaluation of the impact of the Skopje 2014 project on the basis of (Value 1 extremely
negative to 5 extremely positively / give the grades in the sequence e.g. 1/2/3/4)
 Almost 67% considers this project as extremely negative and just 6, 7 as extremely positive.
