What is a Wildfire?

• A Wildfire is a natural disaster that


destroys meadows, forests, causing
great losses in wildlife (animal and
plant) and sometimes human. Forest
fires are often caused by lightning,
negligence, or even provoked and burn
thousands of hectares.
How to prevent Wildfire?

• Never drop cigarrete en or lit


matches on the ground in rural
áreas. You could star wildfire.
• If you live near grassland or forests,
keep the área around your home
clear of the vegetatiòn and debris.
• No dont light bonfire in áreas close
to grassland and forests.
• If you need to light a fire, always
take precautions.
Security measures
in a wildfire.

• Cover you nose and mouth with a


handkerchief or cloth to avoid
smoke inhalation.
• When evacuating, keep
monitoring the behaviour of the
wildfire.
• If you are ordered to evacuate,
follow the instructions given by
officials.
• Dont not return to a burned área.
Hotspots can reactive at any
times.
