This document provides instructions for inputting seismic and well data in Petrel 2013. It describes:

(input) iskandarsyah Input seismic • Input seismic main folder by click insert > insert new seismic main folder. And on the input tab you can insert the seismic folder
• then you can import the seismic file to the
folder. Remember that the file we about to input need to be the same file as the file type of the input type. For example Input seismic • There will be information such as this if we about to import seismic file to make sure the coordinate that the file is placed correctly on map. Click the select CRS if you have the idea of the location coordinate based on the report. But if you don’t know where is it just click on the continue spatially unaware Input seismic The next window that will appear to you is the information input. This will give you an idea of what the file should be and if the file is falsely located Input Well • To input well you can simply click insert on the toolbar and chose new well folder. • On the well folder you can create the wells by right click the folder and chose new well. In this section you will insert the well info such as well name, X, Y, KB(Kelly Bushing) etc.. Input well • Input the .las file to the well that we have already made before. • The step to import this is by Input well • Input by specified the log type Input well • If you already input • If you want to see all the las file. It the file on well log. will appear like this You can view it by click window on the toolbar. And click well section windows
