Development team • Self organizing group

• Responsible for developing
Potentially shippable • Finished state
• No more further work
Product backlog • List of to-do items for Scrum team to tackle
• Responsibility of the product owner to prioritize
Product owner • Job is to identify product features or requirements
• Proritize these features for development
• Continuously review the product backlog
Scrum • Daily short face-to-face meeting
• Reviewing progress and prioritizing work to be done that day
Scrum Master • Responsible for ensuring Scrum process is followed
• Guides the team in the effective use of Scrum
• Interfacing between the development and the product owner
Sprint • A development iteration. 2-4 weeks long.

Velocity • Rate at which a team completes work (how much backlog can be covered
in a single sprint)
• Can be used to plan project and forecast completion date
