Effects of non surgical spinal decompression therapy
and pressure biofeedback training with conventional
Physiotherapy in chronic disease syndrome patients Background Aim of the study is is to compare the effects of non surgical decompression and biofeedback with conventional Physiotherapy in chronic disc syndrome patients Methodology Study design: Quasi experimental design pre and post test Each group has 10 patients Group A : patients treated with DCT and pressure biofeedback for 15 days with exercises Group B : patients treated with Physiotherapy modalities like ultrasound ,IFT,SWD and exercises Results Both lumbar and cervical patients reported significant improvement in all targeted areas Within first five days patients score differ from the starting of the treatment to the end of the treatment for measurement where significant for ADL, pain VAS, Conclusion • Clearly significant improvement machine for lumbar and cervical treatment patients using with DCT • Improved ability to conduct aerial decreased was increased functional status • Thus DCT provides a conservative and effective treatment for patients suffering from chronic disease syndrome 30 patients with low back pain having symptoms more than 4 months In that 22 patients hand rupture disc confirm with MRI and 25 patients had sciatic radiating pain These patients are divided into two groups based on the treatment protocol Group A: Treated with DCT, pressure bio feedback, exercises Group B: Treated with Cryo,TENS, exercises Special tests are done before starting the treatment ,they are: SLR test , Slump test, forward bending test ,ROM,Oeswtry pain questionare Group A : Treated with DCT , pressure bio feedback, Exercises Group B :Treated with other Modalities and medication At the end of the 15sessions , results are • Group A • Group B • They got 80% of • They got 55% improvement ,when improvement when compared to 1st compared to 1 st session session
