ABSTRACT

Fire accident is a serious problem .It takes away many lives.

Fire accident mainly takes place due to unknowingness of

safety precautions about safe travel and also some technical
consideration during travel.

So the railways department should take the precautionary

action to prevent the unnecessary damages and deaths.
EXISTING SYSTEM
In existing system, there is no precaution for fire accident in
train and communication between the compartments in train
takes place by unreliable wired connection.

In case of fire accident, the passenger has to pull the chain to
stop the train, before that the fire from one compartment may
spread to the next compartment due to the motion of the
train.

As a result many people have lost their life.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
In this system, for continuous communication the wireless
communication has been preferred.

Each and every compartment are networked with engine of

train which acts as master node of the train and others act as
slaves.

As soon as the smoke is sensed, the water is sprinkled in that

compartment ,meanwhile the signal is sent to driver unit to
stop train and the fire is prevented.

WORKING

When the train unit (engine and compartment motes) has been
turned on they all form a network for communication.

Each compartment in train have water sprinkler and smoke

sensor to detect the fire.

The engine unit has a display unit and alarm. If the sensor
threshold value exceeds, the sprinkler will spill the water and the
alert will be given to engine unit.

At the same time the driver stops the train and the fire can be
automatically prevented.

ADVANTAGE:

*It saves many lives.

*This system is automatic.
APPLICATION :

*industries,
*hospitals,
*homes……..etc.,
CONCLUSION:

Thus, efficiently this system can be

implemented in trains to protect fire accidents.
