Hearing Protection Devices
The purpose of hearing protection devices is to reduce the
harmful auditory and/or annoying effects of sound.
There are three types of hearing protection:

Ear plugs
Ear muffs Ear caps
Daily Allowable Exposure Times to Noise
The table below shows noise levels and how long a person can be
exposed without hearing protection
