COURSE GOAL
To understand the value and
worth of the
historical
philosophical, and
sociological
disciplines and their influence
on framing the perspective of
education.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Students will be able to:
• differentiate among the
various schools of thought that
have influenced education on
the whole and education in the
Philippines in particular
• explain the idea of education
and the historical, social and
philosophical influences on it
