Analysis
Introduction
In this PowerPoint, I am simply gonna talk about Mapleshade, why
of her actions, if they were good, and much more. Stay to know
more about my opinion.
Why is Mapleshade a Dark
Forest Cat (Evil)?
Mapleshade, a Thunder Clan warrior, felt in love with Appledusk, A
River Clan warrior. She had his kits, and everyone in her clan
believed their father was a deceased TC cat, Birchface.
The TC medicine cat knew about Mapleshade’s mate, and told the
leader; Oakstar. He exiled her with the kits. Mapleshade tried to
go to the river with her kits, in a flood, and they drowned.
Then, Darkstar, the RC leader, did not let Mapleshade stay in the
clan, and when she tried to ask for help to Appledusk, he already
had another mate; Reedshine.
Why is Mapleshade a Dark
Forest Cat (Evil)?
Mapleshade had allucinations of her kits drowning and asking for
help; the only way to save them, was to ‘avenge’ them.
Mapleshade killed Ravenwing, which made one of her kits
silence. (Larchkit) Mapleshade later let Frecklewish die, also
making a kit stay quiet. (Petalkit) Now, the last kit; she failed on
killing Reedshine, and killed Appledusk instead. (Patchkit) was
silenced, but then, Appledusk’s apprentice, Perchpaw, let
Mapleshade go with a huge injury, that later killed Mapleshade
due to blood loss.

Mapleshade killed three cats, and after her death, she was on
the dark forest.
Were Mapleshade’s reasons
OK to murder cats?
Murdering is not the correct option, but, it is understandable.
Mapleshade lost the honour of her clan, lost her kits, her mate,
and everything she loved.

Mapleshade DID have reasons to murder those cats, even if they

did or not deserve it.
Was everything Mapleshade’s
fault?
No, it wasn’t. First, she never lied about her kits being Birchface’s.
Frecklewish assumed it, and Mapleshade just went on. Another
thing, Oakstar could have been more kind, let her kits stay at
least. Appledusk was a total jerk, we get it, he wanted to stay
loyal to his clan; but, why did he keep on meeting Mapleshade
then, but also, being with Reedshine at the same time?
When her kits drowned, she didn’t know there was a flood. And
also, she knew her kits would be safe at River Clan, cause of
Appledusk; she couldn’t go anywhere, she wouldn’t be
accepted. Darkstar was also really mean to Mapleshade, as she
rejected her ignoring the pain she felt about her kits.

So, no. Not everything is Mapleshade’s fault. Her life was a

mess, yet nobody cared. She then just did what she did.
Appledusk should not have
died!
Honestly, I don’t care about him. He was a jerk and a murderer. He
“ACCIDENTLY” drowned a cat, and when someone tried to save him and
drowned too, he called them dumb!

He kept meeting Mapleshade, even though he was with Reedshine at

his camp. He probably never cared about Mapleshade, as when he had
to tell Darkstar about her kits, he made it look like it was her fault.

Oh wow, he saved Reedshine. And? Appledusk wouldn’t change

anything anyways. I doubt he was gonna become a leader anytime
soon. He died just so Crookedstar could exist, that’s it.
