PLOT
• After John Wick loses his wife, Helen, to a terminal illness, he receives
a beagle puppy named Daisy to help him cope with his grief. He connects with the
puppy and they spend their day driving around in his vintage 1969 Ford Mustang
Mach 1. At a gas station, he encounters a trio of Russian gangsters whose leader,
Iosef Tarasov, insists on buying his car, but John refuses to sell it. The mobsters
follow John to his home that night, knock him unconscious, steal his car, and kill
Daisy.
• Iosef takes the Mustang to a chop shop run by Aurelio to have the VIN changed.
Aurelio recognizes the car and, upon learning that Iosef stole it from John, punches
him before throwing him out of his shop. John visits Aurelio, who tells him Iosef is
the son of Viggo Tarasov, the head of the Russian crime syndicate in New York City.
Viggo, informed by Aurelio of Iosef's actions to John, beats and berates Iosef and
explains to him who John Wick is. John was formerly an assassin, nicknamed "Baba
Yaga" (translated in the film as Russian for "Bogeyman") due to his lethal works.
When John wanted to retire and marry Helen, Viggo gave him an "impossible
task," implied to involve multiple assassinations in a short period of time. John
succeeded, and his efforts were key in establishing the Tarasov syndicate

RECOMMEND THIS FILM
I recommend this film to everyone because "John Wick" is a one-
man-army style of action movie. John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is a
retired top-class assassin who is also a member of an
underground criminal society. After the son of a Russian mobster
invaded Wick's home, killed his dog and stole his favorite car,
John Wick gets angry and unleashes Hell. "John Wick" is a fun
and stylized action film with a shallow plot. But while the first
movie laid the foundations, it's the sequel that got everything
right. Best action movie ever i see . #DikYie
MY OPINION
I’m a huge fan of the John Wick series. I absolutely loved the first
movie and found the second one to be a worthy sequel.

Now, about all this hoopla around a potential John Wick universe. It
was not as if anyone was rooting for it, so, um, we’ll see. Personally, I
would have been satisfied with the story wrapping up with the next
movie, thereby encapsulating the mythos of John Wick with a trilogy.

However, as much as I might like or dislike this idea of turning every

successful series into a cinematic universe, movie-making, at the end
of it, is business. We can complain that it is art, first and foremost, but
the reality is that these big studios are here to make money. If they see
an opportunity to milk something, they sure as hell are going to milk it
dry. It’s akin to what usually happens in the video games industry:
Rehash. Rinse. Repeat.
