Background
• English is an international language used by humans for
communication throughout the world. English from the basic
four skill. That are Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Writing Writing skills include being productive or producing
other than speaking skills
• Self-Selected TopicSelf-selected topics writing is an important
part of the writing program because it promotes ownership,
interest, and application of skills by students.
• Checklist is a list of items you need to verify, check or inspect
• Peer Feedback is used in writing classes of both first language
and second language to provide students more opportunities
to learn from each othe

• Population in this research is English students


in Muhammadiyah university fourth semester,
there are 7 classes and around 320 students.
Moreover the writer will chose 1 class around
26 students.
• The researcher will choose 9 students as a
sample based on the attendance list in
systematical distance. The 9 students will
retell the news in front of the class.
