 Introduction
• Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is
an Integrated computer-based system
used to manage internal and external
resources including tangible assets,
financial resources, materials, and
human resources. It is a software
architecture whose purpose is to
facilitate the flow of information between
all business functions inside the
boundaries of the organization and
manage the connections to outside
stakeholders
 Objectives of study
• To understand the utility of different ERP
softwares
• To find out market share of different ERP
softwares
• To know the customer preference pertaining ERP
softwares
• To interpret on customer satisfaction on various ERP
softwares
• To analyze the problem faced by companies in using of
ERP softwares
 Scope of the study
• The study was confined to Goa geographical area with a
sample of 50 respondents .
• The study conducted concentrated on awareness of ERP
softwares at Goan companies.
• The study also takes into consideration advantages and
limitations of ERP softwares.
• Study also identifies the potential market for ERP
softwares
 Limitation of study
• The sample which we take does not represent
the whole population as the numbers of
respondents were very less
• We used convenience sampling technique owing
to limited resources.
• Our limited experience was another constraint
on the quality of the research
• Our respondents were from specific areas and
did not cover the whole of Goa
• Due to lack of time my study was restricted to
few respondents.

 Methodology
PRIMARY SOURCES
• The primary data is collected by the interaction with
many companies/organizations in Goa.
• And the discussion was carried out with the college
internal guide, who helped in developing the objectives
and validating their conformance to the ethical
framework of the project.
SECONDARY SOURCES
I used secondary sources also for collecting the data. They
are:
• Information from the text sources
• Information from the internet sources
• Information from the materials provided by the concern

 Hypothesis
• H0- There is no significant difference in companies
whether they have or not ,the ERP system
• H1- There is a significant difference in the companies
whether they have or not have the ERP solutions
• The Computed Chi-Square value is 0.32
• The critical Chi-Square value at 5% significance level
and 1 degree of freedom is 3.841
• Since the computed Chi-Square value is Less than
critical Chi-Square value
• We Accept the Hypothesis
• which ERP solution they are using
