COMPONENT OF HELICOPTER

MAIN ROTOR

• It is the main propeller that functions to generate lift force on the


helicopter
TAIL ROTOR

• located on the back of the helicopter, function to reduce the


rotating effect of the main rotor and keep the helicopter's body
from turning in counter-rotating direction.
COCKPIT

• located on the front of a helicopter, it functions as a panel and


instrument used to operate the helicopter when flying.
LANDING SKIDS

• the bottom of the helicopter that serves to support the


helicopter's position when on the runway and landing
ENGINE

• the main component of a helicopter that functions to move all


existing mechanics
PEDAL CONTROL

• used to control the angle of attack of the tail rotor, which


functions to move the helicopter's nose to the left or right.
COLLECTIVE CONTROL

• serves to raise and lower the helicopter, by raising or


lowering the swash plate against the main rotor shaft without
changing its angle
TAIL BOOM

• located behind the main body of the helicopter which functions


to stabilize helicopter maneuvers.
CYCLIC CONTROL

• serves to advance, rewind and rotate the helicopter


FUSELAGE

• the main body part where flight crew, passengers or cargo


are placed.
