Overview of Organization

• Nike Inc. was established in 1962 by Bill


Bowerman and Phil Knight .
• Their main objective at that point was
to disseminate ease, fantastic Japanese
athletic shoes to American buyers.
• 8th September 1969, Nike Inc was
formed which involved in designing,
manufacturing, retailing and trading of
athletic footwear, apparel, equipment,
accessories and services.
• Nike has been operating in different
sections of the world.
• Nike Inc. has possessed the capacity to
accomplish this head position through
"quality creation, inventive items, and
forceful advertising.

3D printers. At the moment Nike has only
used 3D printing for the upper part of the
shoe to help athlete to increase their running
speed. There are possibilities that in the
future, Nike would use 3D printer to print the
whole footwear and they are still going
through the benefits and challenges of using
3D printer in manufacturing their products.
